MTV teamed up with DIRECTV NOW for a free MTV VMA Kickoff Concert at Manhattan’s Terminal 5 venue and PBTV was onsite providing the LED video screen solutions including the a digiLED DLPi 3.9mm modules 26’ wide x 15’ high main screen surrounded by a DLPi 3.9mm LED arch with NovaStar NovaPro HD processing. PBTV also wrapped the DJ booth in digiLED MK7 7mm LED moduleswith digiLED Navigator processing. See more of this project here.

PBTV was proud to support Country Concert, which took place during July 2018 in Fort Loramie, OH. PBTV was on hand providing eight digiLED 7mm LED video screens for the main stage, VIP area, Saloon stage and delay screens on the audience field and at FOH. Click here to see this project 

PBTV once again provided LED screens for client Filament Productions for 2018 summer shows for Dead & Company. The dates included an equipment package for sheds and additional gear for stadium shows. All the shows featured a center stage LED wall, consisting of three screens, using digiLED MK7. For the stadium dates, left & right iMAG screens were added using thedigiLED MC7mm blow-through screens with 12% transparency. When not in residence at The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Carlos Santana is touring. His Divination Tour began on March 7th at Abbotsford Centre in Abbotsford, Canada. PBTV was on hand in support of Video Director Bob Higgins and provided a digiLED MK7mm center stage LED screen, 11.5’h x 21’w, as well as 7mm LED strips on stage left and right, and a complete camera and switching package. Throughout the show, close-ups of Carlos Santana’s hands are displayed on the large center screen. 

PBTV provided close to 400 tiles of its digiLED DLP 5.9mm LED product for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s The River tour. There are 180 tiles creating the onstage back wall, and 192 tiles for two side screens at 96 tiles per wall. The side walls each create an upside down “T” shape so that content can be played either horizontally or vertically. The popular new indoor/outdoor DLP 5.9 LED offers 6,000 nits of brightness, and the tiles’ light weight, each at 6.6 kg (14.5 lbs.), makes it easier to rig. Click here for more on this project.

Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution was the place to be for New Year's Eve in Miami and PBTV was happy to join our client Lock & Key Productions to provide Production Designer Anne Brahic of lucki designs, inc. and Screens Producer Laura Frank from Luminous FX creative LED products, including three digiLED DLP 5.9mm LED Floor Systems, 170 meters of digiLED LightSlice, as well as digiLED MK7 7mm resolution panels and digiLED Mirage MC15 Transparent 15mm LED Modules to create a visually stunning set that was a dynamic video-driven design which engaged both the revelers at Bayfront Park and the FOX broadcast audience. Click here to see a clip and to learn more on this project.

For the Dead & Company performances at Boulder, CO’s Folsom Field and NYC's Citi Field, PBTV was brought in to provide two side screens to serve as I-Mag. Two 30’ high x 20’ wide video screens made up of digiLED Mirage MC7 blow-through screens were rigged on either side of the stage. With its 12% transparency, the high-resolution digiLED Mirage MC7 screens can deal with higher speed winds over any other high-resolution LED video screen. Learn more about this project here.

Pete's Big TVs supported the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The massive BET Experience ran June 22 – 25 and was a three-day and night party that led up to the BET Awards on June 26. PBTV supplied two 15’ wide x 8’ high LED screens of  digiLED’s MK7 7mm LED modules on either end of the red carpet for performances and interviews. The Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival took place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Headlining the two-day fest were Maxwell, Erykah Badu, R. Kelly, Toni Braxton, Run-DMC, Sheila E., Men of Soul and Brian Culbertson, among others. 

Pete’s Big TVs provided two 18’ x 24’ IMAG screens comprised of GTek 15mm flex LED display tiles. Another 162 tiles of 15mm flex were used for the 16’ x 30 ‘ upstage screen.

For the two-day Sunset Music Festival held in Tampa in May, Pete’s Big TVs provided over 2,000 LED panels for client Onstage Systems. The three stages at this electronic dance music festival hosted artists ranging from techno to trance, including The Crystal Method, Paul van Dyk and more. All of the LED product from PBTV was 15m resolution, digiLED MC15 and GTek15.
